L’auteur, après avoir rappelé les différents textes officiels qui organisent la validation des acquis de l’expérience à l’Université ( 1985,1992,2002), tente d’analyser en quoi une nouvelle pratique entraîne une organisation dans des processus de changement quelquefois considérables auxquels selon leur place et leur conviction les acteurs adhèrent ou résistent. En d’autres termes, cette contribution vise à éclairer, en s’appuyant sur une situation concrète et contextualisée, comment se vit et s’organise le changement dans une institution multiséculaire, à savoir l’Université. L’auteur pour bâtir son propos se réfère à une approche systémique qui le conduit à considérer la validation des acquis de l’expérience comme un input nouveau (et déstabilisateur) dans l’équilibre du système. Il se propose de tenter de mieux comprendre en quoi ce flux nouveau d’informations peut avoir des effets sur l’organisation, le fonctionnement et la vie universitaire.

After having presented the different official texts which organise the validation of acquired experience knowledge at a university level (1985, 1992, 2002), the author proposes an analysis of the way in which a new practice engenders an organisation in the process of change, at times a quite significant one, and to which the participants either adhere or resist, given their varying situations and convictions. In other words, this article attempts to clarify, using a concrete and contextualized example as its support, how change is organised and played out in the centuries-old institution that is the University. In order to establish his reasoning, the author refers to a systematic approach, allowing him to consider the validation of acquired experience knowledge as new input (and a destabilizing factor) in the system’s equilibrium. He offers an attempt to better understand the manner in which this flow of new information can have an influence on the organisation and functioning of the university, as well as university life in general.
