This article describes the situation of Latin American Studies in Sweden. It is based on the reflections that the authors gave as answers to twenty questions, which focus on the main axes of Latin American research made in the Scandinavian country. Such answers are complemented by a large bibliography that includes journals which have Latin America as their main issue, as well as PhD dissertations that have been written in Swedish universities and which have Latin America as their main subject.

[ES] Este artículo describe la situación de los estudios latinoamericanos en Suecia, basándose en las reflexiones generadas por una serie de veinte preguntas que procuran desvelar los ejes de la investigación sobre América Latina en el país escandinavo. Las respuestas a estas preguntas se complementan con una extensa bibliografía, en la que se presentan algunas revistas dedicadas a este ámbito de conocimiento y las tesis doctorales defendidas en universidades suecas y que tienen a América Latina como objeto.
