Résumé
The social sciences have long shown that sexuality cannot be understood independently of the other dimensions of social life in which it is embedded, and through which it acquires meaning and form. This article first reviews the way in which the social sciences, in particular sociology and political science, have approached sexuality, before going on to propose a critical synthesis of the works and issues involved in analyzing its articulation with social class.
