The apocalyptic events that are narrated in the Scriptures, beyond their marked symbolism, show the future modification of nature and current environments. This paper presents an interpretation of the trumpets and bowls of the book of Revelation of the Apostle John based on the futuristic current. For that, concepts and facts defined by different scientific branches such as physics, chemistry, geography, medicine, psychiatry, and biology are used. In addition, the coherent or natural order of the different events can be noted by the cause-effect pair, putting in judgement the supposed randomness with which these stories were written.

Los eventos apocalípticos que se narran en Las Escrituras, más allá de su marcado simbolismo, muestran la modificación futura de la naturaleza y entornos actuales. Este artículo expone una interpretación, basada en la corriente futurista, de las trompetas y copas del libro Apocalipsis del apóstol Juan. Para ello, se utilizan conceptos y hechos definidos por distintas ramas científicas como la física, la química, la geografía, la medicina, la psiquiatría y la biología. Además, puede notarse el orden coherente o natural de los distintos sucesos mediante el par causa-efecto, poniendo en juicio la supuesta aleatoriedad con la que fueron escritos estos relatos.
