Development of new micro-machined microcells BDD micromachined with Femtosecond Laser for the determination of heavy metals. An electrochemical microcell was micromachined on a thin layer of microcrystalline boron doped diamond (BDD) using a femto-second laser. Electrochemical performances of the new micro-cells (BDD) were evaluated by anodic stripping voltammetry (DPASV) and four heavy metals could be detected simultaneously in the ratio of the concentrations usually measured in wastewater or storm water. The detection limits are responding to the request of the European Framework Directive on Water.
