Résumé 0

This assessment synthesizes and develops the concept of “augmented consciousness” mentioned in my previous two books La divergence du futur and La pensée magique du Net. We emphasize the paradoxical nature of the capacity of a digital technology based on a trivial binary code to create consciousness and even a requirement of social, global, secular, and political ethics, which marks a fundamental divergence in the evolution of our species. Indeed, far from being treated as anti-humanist, digital technology in fact leads us to the idea of “hyperhumanism” as a valid sociological concept. “Mythanalysis” can identify the mythic dimension of digital relationships in the existential dependence that they create, while addressing their amniotic origin.
