Many studies have analyzed the impact of telecommuting and the determinants of innovation. However, very few of them have analyzed the relationship between these two forms of innovation: social (telecommuting) and technological (product; process). This article aims to contribute to the understanding of this relationship. To this end, we consider a survey carried out by the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) among 1,468 representative companies in Luxembourg. The main result highlights the positive impact of a telecommuting policy on product innovation. More precisely, this article points out common determinants between a telecommuting approach and innovation (product; process).

De nombreuses études analysent l’impact du télétravail et les déterminants de l’innovation. Toutefois, rares sont celles qui analysent la relation entre ces deux formes d’innovations, sociale (le télétravail) et technologique (produit ; procédé). Cet article a pour objectif de contribuer à la compréhension de cette relation. Pour ce faire, une enquête réalisée par le Luxembourg Institute of Socio Economic Research (LISER) auprès de 1468 entreprises représentatives du Luxembourg est mobilisée. Le principal résultat met en avant l’impact positif d’une démarche de télétravail sur l’innovation de produit. Plus précisément, cet article met en lumière des déterminants communs entre une démarche de télétravail et l’innovation (produit ; procédé).
