Luis Felipe Rios, « Corpos e prazeres nos circuitos de homossociabilidade masculina do Centro do Rio de Janeiro », Ciência & Saúde Coletiva, ID : 10670/1.bb8o9f
"This paper presents the results of anethnographic research investigating the culturalbases that guide the construction of corporealevents, especially those related to sex/eroticism,in the homosocial circuits of downtown Rio deJaneiro. Data were gathered by means of biographicnarrative interviews, direct observations andresearch-interventions. The main argument presentedin this paper is that the diverse corporealevents in the studied community are based on thesame conceptual structure that focuses on transgressionof the body/flesh in the sense of St. Paulsconcept: an exaltation of forbidden tesão, eroticpleasure only admissible for the purpose of reproduction.Flesh instead of sublimated being exalted, constantly inspired and attracted to more andmore erotic pleasure."
