The question of time is today very omnipresent in the discourse and practice of the actors of the territory. The article aims to review the state of knowledge on the emerging question. Then, the stratification of the case study, Brazza and Bastide Niel, Bordeaux Rive Droite, puts into perspective the strategies employed at the territorial and architectural scale and the reality of the territory. Beyond the apprehension of the different relationships between urban planner and landscaper, between man and his environment, we try to demonstrate that time is today a determining factor in the mechanism of territorial transformation.

La question du temps est aujourd’hui omniprésente dans le discours et dans la pratique des acteurs du territoire. L’article vise à parcourir dans un premier temps l’état des connaissances sur la question émergente. Ensuite, la stratification des études de cas, Brazza et Bastide Niel, Bordeaux Rive Droite, met en perspective les stratégies employées à l’échelle territoriale et architecturale, ainsi que la réalité du territoire. Au-delà de l’appréhension des différents rapports entre urbaniste et paysagiste, entre l’homme et son environnement, on tente de démontrer que le temps est aujourd’hui un facteur déterminant du mécanisme de transformation des territoires.
