The poems of the Epigrammata Bobiensia assigned with certainty to Naucellius, friend of Symmachus, show a very large presence of the poet in the corpus. We study here the poetical expression of biographical data, some aspects of an aesthetic both consistent with the trends of the time and submitted to a personal sensitivity, and the methods of the often indirect construction of the poet’s authorship.
