Résumé 0

Infertility is defined as the failure to achieve pregnancy after 12 months of regular unprotected intercourse. It is estimated that endometriosis is found in 50% of patients diagnosed with infertility, but the relationship between infertility and endometriosis is not completely clear. Several publications have focused on the benefits of artificial intelligence in medicine and more particularly in medically assisted reproduction, with promising results concerning sperm quality analysis and the identification of embryos with the highest potential of success. The ENDO-miRNA study has recently established a blood and salivary signature of endometriosis and our team has focused on the potential role of micro-RNAs in predicting infertility in patients with confirmed endometriosis. This article reviews the main concepts of artificial intelligence, its models, and presents the preliminary predictive signature of endometriosis-associated infertility. This signature had a 100% accuracy rate when it came to identifying patients with infertility. A dedicated study to validate this signature as well as to investigate its theragnostic value is expected.
