Cet article réinterroge la démarche tourmentée d’Antonin Artaud qui établit une relation entre ce qu’il considère comme deux expériences extrêmes : la peste et l’état de l’acteur sur la scène qui se transforme et est susceptible par son acte de contaminer « comme la peste » les spectateurs.
This article questions the tormented approach developed by Antonin Artaud, who saw a connection between what he considered as being two extreme forms of experience : the plague and the state of the actor on stage. The latter, undergoing a transformation on stage, is liable to infect the audience “just like the plague”.
Este artigo volta a questionar o inquietante pensamento de Antonin Artaud quando estabelece uma relação entre duas experiências que considera extremas : a peste e a condição do ator no palco sobre o qual ele se transforma e consegue, através dos seus gestos, contaminar, “como a peste”, os espetadores.
