De nos jours, la crédibilité est une qualité à laquelle beaucoup aspirent, car elle permet d’obtenir adhésion et confiance. Partant de là, cet article met en évidence les critères de la crédibilité en les comprenant comme base, moyen ou point de rencontre. À partir de cette conception, l’A. s’attarde sur la triade croyants adultes, communautés adultes et Église renouvelée pour découvrir la place que lui accorde Emilio Alberich quand il traite de la catéchèse des adultes.

Nowadays, credibility is a much-sought quality, as it allows us to gain adherence and confidence. As a result, and in the face of the crisis of credibility that affects both the Church and other institutions, I present a few criteria for credibility – that are neither exclusive nor excluding – that makes possible a reading of adult catechesis according to Emilio Alberich. By considering credibility as a dynamic concept, I carry out a systematic study showing that the criteria for credibility should be understood as basic, average, or point of encounter. Based on this conception, I will focus on the trio of adult believers, adult communities and a renewed Church in order to meet the objective of this study, namely, the role of credibility in adult catechesis according to Emilio Alberich.
