Résumé
The article is intended to fill a gap in the literature on Pentecostalism in Africa by setting out the main elements of the history and then the most significant recent developments in Pentecostalism in Togo, which up to now had not been the subject of any study. The paper reviews the first missionary initiatives in the North then in the West of the country. It deals with the main stages in the development of Pentecostal movements in Togo, and then goes on to examine more specifically their relations with the media and with the political world.
