For an Extra-Terrestrial eutopia

The extraterrestrial is rejected by thinkers of the living world. This is a mistake. Because he is the radical Other, the figure not of a utopia, i.e. a “place of nowhere”, but of a eutopia, i.e. a “place of the best”. And that place is Earth. The extraterrestrial is an unheard-of terrestrial, extra in every sense of the word: he’s an Extra-Terrestrial.
