From the adoption of international texts in favour of women, a dynamic contributing to the construction and restructuring of gender-related paradigms is spreading to the terrestrial globe. In 30 years of celebration, one of the major achievements of International Women's Day, both at the international and national level, is the entry into force of the ' right to decision-making ' of women. Nevertheless, sociologists agree that no society has yet fulfilled the criteria for identifying women as the ' holder of power ', having control over ' power ' and exercising ' power to its advantage '. In Africa, the issue was the emancipation of the woman from the duty of absolute subordination assigned to her by the patriarchal order of society and to extend her field of activity beyond reproduction, production and management.

Depuis l'adoption des textes internationaux en faveur de la femme, une dynamique contribuant à la construction et déstructuration des paradigmes liés aux rapports sociaux de sexe se propage sur le globe terrestre. En 30 ans de célébration, un des acquis majeurs de la Journée Internationale de la Femme tant sur le plan International que national est l'entrée en vigueur du 'droit à la prise de décision' de la femme. Néanmoins, les sociologues s'accordent pour affirmer qu'aucune société n'a encore rempli les critères permettant d'y identifier la gente féminine comme 'détentrice du pouvoir', ayant le contrôle sur le 'pouvoir' et exerçant 'le pouvoir à son profit'. En Afrique, l'enjeu a été celui de l'affranchissement de la femme du devoir de subordination absolue que lui a assigné l'ordre patriarcal de la société et d'étendre son champ d'activité au-delà de la reproduction, production et de la gestion.
