Résumé 0

If the hard sciences have the microscope, could the social sciences rely on the camera? In 2017, Daniel Vander Gucht published Ce que regarder veut dire [What it means to look]. Under this title that echoes Bourdieu, the author does not undertake a visual turn in sociology, but rather analyzes and formalizes the practices relating to the use of images in sociological research: beyond the analysis of images, he promotes a sociology in images and through images, which he discusses in the following interview.
