The Val-d'Oise experienced numerous bombings during the Second World War and the Department's archaeological service (SDAVO) has set itself the task of documenting them in order to contribute to the history of this conflict in the Department as well as to prevent pyrotechnical risks in connection with land development work. The data comes from the analysis of several sources of information, planimetric, topographic or archival, which allow the identification of the bombardments that took place. The military territory of the Val-d'Oise ((The Val-d'Oise was born of the redrawing of the Paris region by the law of 10 July 1964. The territorial organisation is therefore different from that of the Second World War.)) is not without objects and documents and data provide a great deal of information relating to events of the Second World War. This "layer of information", which corresponds to a moment in the history of a site, is now integrated by archaeologists into the scientific issues of the SDAVO in order to reconstruct the framework and the stigmata of this contemporary conflict, which modified and altered the landscape, partially or totally

Le Val-d’Oise a connu de nombreux bombardements durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale et le service archéologique du Département (SDAVO) s’est donné comme mission de les documenter pour contribuer à l’histoire de ce conflit dans le département tout autant que pour prévenir les risques pyrotechniques en lien avec les travaux d’aménagement du territoire. Les données sont issues du dépouillement de plusieurs sources d’informations, planimétriques, topographiques ou archivistiques, qui permettent d’identifier les bombardements qui ont eu lieu. Le territoire militaire du Val-d’Oise1 n’est pas sans objets et des documents et données apportent des informations nombreuses en lien avec des faits de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Cette « couche d’information » qui correspond à un moment de l’histoire d’un site est maintenant intégrée par les archéologues dans les problématiques scientifiques du SDAVO afin de reconstituer le cadre et les stigmates de ce conflit contemporain qui a modifié et altéré le paysage, partiellement ou totalement.
