Climate change impact all States. However, they do not have all the same responsibility and the same capacity on the fight against climate change.These inequalities are also found in maritime transport sector transition in many aspects, which are the geographical, the technical and the economic aspects. Consequently, it is a necessity to take specific measures in order to ensure that no one is left behind, such as more studies, the promotion of the opportunities, the cooperation between states and specific financing measures.This philosophy is in the center of the discussion at the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

Le changement climatique impacte tous les États. Cependant, tous n’ont pas la même responsabilité et la même capacité à lutter contre le changement climatique.Ces inégalités se retrouvent dans la transition du secteur du transport maritime sous de nombreux aspects, qui sont géographiques, techniques ou économiques. Il est donc nécessaire de prendre des mesures spécifiques pour que personne ne soit laissé derrière, comme davantage d’études, la promotion des opportunités, la coopération entre États et des mesures de financement spécifiques.Cette philosophie est au centre des discussions à l’Organisation maritime internationale (OMI).
