The creation of family trees with survivors of the Genocide against the Tutsi living in France highlights the upheavals in kinship relations since 1994. Through the mobilization of their memories and their relatives, we see various ruptures at work (biographical, familial, geographical) and their effects on the elaboration and transmission of memory.
