Résumé En

The State should be a key actor of energy landscapes: in France, the government has decided to maintain the nuclear sector as the main energy source, which represents today 70% of the total electricity produced in the country, and will represent as recently scheduled 50% in 2035. The project of the Garden of energies designed by landscape architect Pascal Cribier for the nuclear plant of Cattenom (2004, not realized) shows however that all energies, except the nuclear and volcanic ones, come directly or indirectly from the Sun, the key element of gardens with soil and water. As in this project, the future energy landscapes should correspond to a combination of the different energies except of fossil ones.
