Since the Handiscol plan (1999) and more recently with the law of 11 February 2005, the policies promote the inclusion of students with disabilities. If for the time being, students with disabilities included in ordinary school have educational content adapted by dedicated services, the arrival on the market of the digital textbook, driven by the digital plan for education, could have an impact on the adaptation process and also on the learning situations. In fact, the desire to move from an adapted edition to an inclusive edition currently seems to be at the heart of the concerns. However, if inclusive publishing is already achievable for literary, the native accessibility of educational content is still problematic. In Sweden, which has opted for a digital adaptation of textbooks, the limits and advantages of digital textbooks for visually impaired students in inclusion will be explained and discussed as well as the impacts on the adaptation process in France.
