Résumé
While most of the, by now, over 27,000 mainly demotic ostraca from Hut-Repit/Athribis in Upper Egypt that were discovered by the archaeological mission of the University of Tübingen are connected to the temple administration, a significant number can be identified as pupils’ exercises. This article, which is the updated and expanded version of a paper presented at the 14th International Conference for Demotic Studies held at Heidelberg in September 2022, presents the different types of demotic school texts attested on sherds from Athribis and the edition of a number of these ostraca.
