This study investigates factors influencing teacher’s job satisfaction and commitment in public secondary schools in Oyo State, Nigeria. The research employed descriptive survey design to conduct its study. The data collection took place in 2024 and included all six hundred and twenty-five (625) public secondary school principals together with fourteen thousand, five hundred and eight (14,508) teachers across the thirty-three (33) local government areas in Oyo State. The sample included Two Hundred and Fifty selected schools through purposive and simple random sampling from the forty percent public secondary institutions in Oyo State. Two Hundred and Fifty (250) Principals form the total number of sampled participants. All Two Hundred and Fifty (250) selected public schools received representation through purposive sampling of ten (10) teachers each. The researcher selected Two Thousand, Five Hundred (2,500) teachers through the random sampling process. This research work received data through Two Thousand, Seven Hundred and Fifty (2,750) respondents. Two assessment tools used in the research consisted of “Motivational Strategies, School Factors and Job Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSSFJSQ)”(0.80) and “Teachers Commitment Questionnaire (TCQ)” (0.82). The analysis procedure involved multiple regression testing at 5% significane level.
