Résumé
Hyperactivity highlights the impasses of the biomedical approach to mental disorders and opens up to the need for alternative practices that have proven to be efficient in the daily lives of suffering children and parents. In France, however, there is a psychoanalytic and clinical tradition, which still feeds French psychiatry and psychopathology, institutional arrangements, as well as university and professional training. However, these work spaces must not be undermined by pseudo-scientific lobbying, and the principle of free choice of care method must be respected.
