Le paradigme psychosomatique est constitué par la relation inverse établie par Marty entre risque de somatisation et qualité du fonctionnement mental, il constitue une « fiction théorique » au sens défini par N. Loraux, et le philosophe B. Williams. L’auteur soumet quelques aspects du modèle qui en découle à un examen critique.
Based on the work of T. Kuhn, the author differentiates the notion of paradigm from that of a model. The psychosomatic paradigm is constituted by the inverse relationship between the risk of somatisation and the quality of mental functioning, as established by P. Marty ; it forms a "theoretical fiction" as the term was defined by N. Loraux and the philosopher, B. Williams. Some aspects of the model which follow from this are examined critically in this article.
ZusammenfassungBasierend auf den Arbeiten von T. Kuhn stellt der Autor eine Unterscheidung zwischen dem Konzept des Paradigmas und jenem des Modells auf. Das psychosomatische Paradigma wird durch die umgekehrte Beziehung zwischen Risiko der Somatisierung und Qualität der geistigen Funktionsweise nach Marty dargestellt ; es konstituiert eine « theoretische Fiktion » im Sinne der Definition von N. Loraux und des Philosophen B. Williams. Der Autor unterbreitet einige Aspekte des Modells, welches infolgedessen einer kritischen Prüfung unterzogen wird.
