Dans le cadre de la mise en place de l’enseignement à distance, le rapport enseignant/élève a pu être mis à mal. Comportements et attitudes furent révélateurs des difficultés profondes des millénnials à s’impliquer dans l’apprentissage. Les symptômes présentés, croisement entre invisibilité et exhibitionnisme et mise à nu des pulsions, montraient avec éloquence un détachement rapide de la relation avec l’enseignant et ainsi la nécessité à rétablir le lien, outil indispensable pour tenter de « réamorcer la pompe à penser » de l’apprenant et par là même à lui autoriser à construire sa subjectivité. Les visées capitalistes des réseaux sociaux, les subterfuges pervers utilisés pour capter l’attention du jeune consommateur participent activement à sa vacuité psychique risquant de l’entraîner dans les affres du non-être, le réduisant à adopter l’identité de la marque qu’il consomme. Cette mise à distance ne fut pas sans conséquence pour l’enseignant, lui-même pris au piège de la perte d’une part d’intimité et affecté par un processus de compensation de la perte du lien par une sur-affectivité de l’expression.
