The first transition studied in the framework of the programme TransMonDyn is the most ancient: it concerns the diffusion of our species, Homo sapiens, on the surface of the planet. This expansion is marked in particular by the departure of our ancestors from Africa roughly 100,000 years ago, then again, some 30,000 years later.
