Résumé
This second part of the history of animated film highlights Disney’s major influence throughout the second half of the twentieth century. In aesthetic, industrial, and ideological terms, in the midst of the Cold War, it was Disney that others imitated, reviled, and sought to surpass, until the emergence of new forms of auteur animation, in Europe and above all in Japan, which had become the second hub of the industry.
