Informal caregivers of older adults play an essential role in home care. It is therefore important to offer them respite. Yet, respite services remain seldom used by caregivers, in particular due to their lack of flexibility. To respond to this problem, the Association Aidons nos Aînés et nos Aidants started the ANAAÏS project for the development and implementation of an on-demand respite platform in Guadeloupe. This article aims to describe the pilot implantation of the platform: to describe the sociodemographic characteristics of users, and to describe the use of the platform and explore user satisfaction. The data collection methods included a sociodemographic questionnaire, recording of data generated by the platform, and an online assessment questionnaire. The ANAAÏS platform was used by 36 dyads and 7 respite workers. The majority of caregivers (74%) are women aged 65 and over. The average intervention time was 2 to 3 hours (285 interventions over the 6 months of the pilot project). All caregivers indicated that they would use the service again or recommend it. The development of the ANAAÏS platform contributes to the accessibility of health services, in particular flexible respite.
