One year after Écologie & Politique, the journal Natures Sciences Sociétés (NSS) will celebrate its 20th anniversary. The author returns to the historical moment that gave them birth, recalling their parallel goals: to link politics and science. At the heart of NSS are interdisciplinary research practices and issues linking natural and social sciences. Only taking into account geography, the author takes stock of progress made in achieving initial goals.
