Résumé 0

This article presents some results of a more comprehensive research concerning the treatment of environmental issues in non-specialized radios stations in Benin Republic. It is particularly focused on the media coverage of the “debate” on Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). Based on a socio-semiotic approach inspired by the work of Goffman (1991) and Benveniste (1974), and on a comparative approach, this study proposes to analyze the enunciative strategies of the main actors of “debate” under question.
