The Covid-19 pandemic has presented challenges of unprecedented complexity in globalhistory, worsened by the infodemic and the intensification of social inequalities, especially inmarginalized territories. This paper is part of a research project on the socio-cultural processes ofknowledge mediation implemented in marginalized territories during the Covid-19 pandemic, both byscientific institutions and scientific and cultural organizations. A preliminary bibliographic review is presented, with the aim of providing an overview of national and international studies carried out onthe same topic, in the fields of Information Science, Communication and Social Sciences and Health. The study is qualitative and quantitative, exploratory and documental, and uses national andinternational databases as sources. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 1,059 referenceswere classified thematically and grouped into four categories. Of these, 150 were selected for furtheranalysis and 30 studies were prioritized. The results confirm the interest in the topic both in Brazil andglobally, generally involving contextualized and dialogical practices and the articulation ofcollaborative networks. At the same time, they showed that there are also contradictions andchallenges in scientific production when marginalized territories are highlighted.
