The so called "Troop baths" located in the second surrounding of the Almería Castle have been the subject of new archaeological investigations during part of the years 2007-2009. This study presents the previous researches and recent excavations. They have allowed to improve your knowledge of the defensive structures that enclose them, and they have provided informations on the constructive characteristics of this building. And, finally, they shed some light on the evolutions of this ¬ammām between the 11th-12th and the 16th centuries.

El baño árabe de la Tropa, situado en el segundo recinto de la Alcazaba de Almería, ha sido objeto de nuevas investigaciones arqueológicas durante los años 2007-2009. En este estudio se presentan las intervenciones antiguas y las excavaciones recientes que han permitido mejorar el conocimiento de las estructuras defensivas que sirven de perimetro, documentar sus caracteristicas constructivas, y, finalmente, evidenciar las reformas que ha conocido este ¬ammām entre los siglos xi-xii y xvi.
