"The present article is centered in the identification and students characterizationwith High Intellectual Capacities in students of the grades X andXI of Institutions Educational officials of Santa Martas District. The selectionof the sample was made assisting to postulation approaches on the partof educational and students of the mentioned grades and psychological evaluation,of which 22 students were selected distributed this way: 8 with HighIntellectual Abilities and 14 with Academic Talents. The results hurtled bythis study allowed to approach to a characterization and the achievement ofa bigger understanding of the psychological particularities of these youthswhat facilitates the construction of in agreement intervention strategieswith the detected characteristics."
