Training individuals in forestry techniques, such as felling trees using hand tools, carries a significant risk of serious accidents. Given this heightened level of risk, it becomes imperative to develop a specialised training program specifically tailored for teacher-trainers engaged in fieldwork for pedagogical purposes. This programme draws upon the principles of professional didactics and incorporates video-based training tools. The present article illustrates two different approaches to integrating work analysis and action conceptualisation support. The first approach involves the enactment of concepts derived from a previous work analysis conducted in collaboration with professionals, employing an instruction by the use of stand-ins. The second approach entails the creation of a simulated work situation in a forest environment that offers substantial potential for learning. This simulated scenario is subsequently captured in the form of an interactive video, incorporating action conceptualisations identified in the existing literature on educational science and training.
