Agathe Mareuge, « « L’insonore bleu des nostalgies ». Constellations amicales et poétiques à partir de la Topographie anecdotée du hasard de Daniel Spoerri », Études Germaniques, ID : 10670/1.g10b3a
In 1962, Daniel Spoerri published the first – French – version of his book An anecdoted Topography of Chance / Topographie anecdotée du hasard. In the following years and decades, some other versions in English and in German were published in collaboration with Spoerri’s “good friends” Robert Filliou, Emmett Williams, Dieter Roth and Roland Topor, the book growing in size each time. This paper shows how Topography materialises friendship as well as poetic networks, which testify to non-linear creative processes. The reconstruction of textual variations makes the traces of avant-garde (Dada, Merz, surrealism) and neo-avant-garde (Nouveaux réalistes, Fluxus, lettrism, concrete poetry) movements visible.
