This is the first time that the Journal of the Short Story in English has entirely dedicated a special issue to Alice Munro’s short fiction, although a great number of individual stories have been examined throughout the preceding issues, with the first one (1983) already encapsulating a critical article on Lives of Girls and Women (1971) and Who Do You Think You Are (1978).
