Dominique Poulot, « Le laboratoire berlinois des musées entre Heimat et « déberlinisation » », Études Germaniques, ID : 10670/1.g9kj77
Berlin has been a laboratory of museums since the second 20th century in terms of collections, buildings, and political issues. The fall of the Wall led to an almost complete overhaul of the museum landscape, which has been ongoing for a generation through many controverses. The founding of the Humboldt Forum led to a sharp confrontation with the questions of appropriation of postcolonial objects. Finally, the design of a global Berlin is an uncertain bet in the competition of global metropolises, in terms of international tourism and local memories.
