Résumé
Command and control was not an easy thing for the French Army at Verdun, because deficiencies in organization of the chain of command and technical means for communications. There were two reorganizations of the command structure of the Army of Verdun, the first one in August 1915, and the second in February 1916. The author exposes their effects on the battle itself and following operations in terms of situational awareness and coordination of arms.
