Nous tenterons de faire un bilan provisoire de la recherche sur le melhoun, à partir du poste d’observation que constitue pour nous notre « Poètes du melhoun du Maghreb » Il s’agit de questionner avant tout ce qui rend visible cette recherche, c’est-à-dire principalement les publications que nous avons identifiées et rassemblées dans notre bibliographie générale du melhoun. Le questionnement portera principalement sur les conditions qui rendent possible la constitution et la transmission de ce savoir de l’époque coloniale à l’époque de l’indépendance du pays.

We will attempt to make a provisional assessment of research on the melhoun, from the observation post that constitutes for us our "Poets of the melhoun of the Maghreb", It is a matter of questioning above all what makes this research visible, that is to say mainly the publications that we have identified and gathered in our general bibliography of the melhoun. The questioning will focus mainly on the conditions that make the constitution and transmission of this knowledge possible from the colonial period to the time of the country’s independence.

يسعى بحثنا إلى إجراء تقييم مؤقت للبحوث حول الملحون، وذلك من وجهة النظر التي يشكلها "شعراء ملحون المغرب الكبير" بالنسبة لنا، من خلال التساؤل قبل كل شيء عما يجعل هذا البحث مرئيًا، وهذا من أجل أن نطرح بشكل أساسي المنشورات التي حددناها وجمعناها في الببليوغرافيا العامة للملحون. كما سيركز التساؤل بشكل أساسي على الظروف التي تجعل من الممكن تكوين ونقل هذه المعرفة من الحقبة الاستعمارية إلى فترة استقلال البلاد.
