This paper presents a critical review of the systematization of educational experiences which,as an emerging Latin American method, allows new pathways for social and educationalresearch. The article highlights the interaction between the notions of actions, practices, andexperience concerning the configuration in the field of systematization of experiences and theconception of practical knowledge. It also shows some indications when working with thisapproach and outlines a route to guide research on the systematization of educationalexperiences.
