Subjunctive/indicative are triggered by (non)veridicality in the assertion or presupposition. With emotives, the assertion contains a sentiment ordering source S that partitions the emotive domain E into p (positive extent) and ¬p (negative). Emotives are nonveridical in the assertion and veridical in the presupposition. Languages differently parametrize mood choice, which can be selected by the assertion or the presupposition.
