Résumé En Fr

Some very rich female inhumations dating from the Early Empire, discovered in a rural environment between the northern boundary of the " Marais Poitevin " and the river Charente, show the prosperity of an upper class based on the produce of the coast, and the originality of burial practices, probably partly influenced by fashions from Rome.
