This article seeks to explore the collaborative processes involved in the composition, rehearsal and performance of S’arricugghieru for guitar and violin, written in 2016 by Marcello Messina. In the process of the collaborative negotiation of the performance, the original score writing loses its normative pressure on the performers’ actions. Therefore, the performance in itself emerges as the one and only social act that can generate musical meaning.

O artigo trata dos processos envolvidos na composição, preparação para a performance e a performance em si de S'arricugghieru, obra para violino e violão escrita em 2016 por Marcello Messina. Ao longo da negociação colaborativa da performance, a escrita originária da partitura perde a sua pressão normativa sobre as ações dos executores.
