"Recently researchers and practitioners have focused on theapplicationof managerial technologies in Latin American organizations. The lackof socío-technícal assessment prior to implementation, however, limitstheir usefulness, The purpose of this studywas to examine the utilityof socio-technical systems theory to facilitate development of an improvedquality of work life when new management technologies are adopted.A survey was presented to 128 managers in Pero.
