Mylene Charon, « Femme, philosophe, féministe… & littéraire : Michèle Le Doeuff au matrimoine français », HAL-SHS : littérature, ID : 10670/1.i09a8l
This is a review of the book titled "Se réorienter dans la pensée. Femmes, philosophie et arts, autour de Michèle Le Dœuff" (Presses Universitaires de Rennes) published in 2020, following a two-days symposium that took place in 2015. It marks the late acknowledgment, in France, of the French feminist philosopher whose importance has nonetheless been recognized since many years by researchers from other countries around the world, and especially Australia. This paper particularly focuses on the crucial role played by literature and imagination in the work of Michèle Le Doeuff, as much in her own writing as in her enquiry of the sexism of canonical philosophy theories.
