Joseph Nguyen Van Phong : Versuch zu Aufbau und Gebrauch eines Modells religiöser Bekehrung, am Beispiel Konstantin des Grossen. Zweck dieser Studie ist der Aufbau eines dynamischen Modells zur Auslegung des Erfolgs bzw. Misserfolgs in der Bekehrung des politischen Leaders eines Landes, der sich veranlasst sieht, von der Mehrheitsreligion (z.B. Heidentum) abzulassen und zu einer allgemein verbotenen Minderheitsreligion überzugehen, bzw. diese zu dulden (z.B. Katholizismus) . Zur Uebertragung der Aktions- bzw. Interaktionsbeziehungen der Entscheidungsmechanismen, wurde ein kontinuierliches dynamisches Model! gewählt, welches vier Gleichungen enthält, die die Verbindung zwischen vier endogenen und einer exogenen Variabeln herstellt. Die endogenen Variabeln sind : P bzw. sämtliche von den Anhängern der traditionellen Religionen auf den Betroffenen ausgeübten Kräfte; I steht für den Einfluss der Gemeinde der neuen Religion; E für die Einschätzung der Vortrefflichkeit oder der Ueberlegenheit der neuen Religion; D für die Entschlossenheit des Betroffenen, diese oder jene Haltung gegenüber der Minderheitsreligion einzunehmen; С stellt schliesslich die exogene Variabel dar, das Mass aller konjukturellen Faktoren auf sozialem, politischem, wirtschaftlichem, religiosem, militarischem Gebiete, die in das in Frage kommende System eingreifen und Verànderungen in den Beziehungen der vier endogenen Variabeln hervorrufen.

Речь идет о построении динамической модели для того чтобы интерпретировать успех или неудачу обращения в другую веру политического лидера данной страны, которому предлагают покинуть религию большинства населения (например, язычество) и обращаться в веру меньшинства или по крайней мере терпеть ее (например католичество). Для объяснения отношений действия или взаимодействия механизмов решения, выбор пал на систему непрерывной динамической модели, которая состоит из четырех уравнений соединяющих между собой четыре эндогенные переменные с одной экзогенной. Эндогенные переменные это следующие : « Р » или сумма сил направленных на данное лицо сторонниками традиционной религии; « I » представляет собою влияние общины новой религии; «Е» оценка данного лица о превосходстве и преимуществе новой религии; « D » решимость данного лица принять ту или иную позицию по отношению к религии меньшинства. И наконец « С » это экзогенная переменная, которая измеряет все конъюнктуральные факторы социального, политического, экономического, религиозного, военного характера, которые могли бы воздействовать в предлогаемой системе и вызвать изменения в отношениях четырьмя эндогенными переменными.
Joseph Nguyen Van Phong : An Essay of construction and utilization of a religious conversion model: the example of Constantin the Great. The point is to built a dynamic model to understand the success or failure of the conversion of a national political leader, offered to leave aside the major religion (for example paganism) in order to embrace or at least tolerate a minoritary usually forbidden religion (for example Catholicism). In order to account for the action or interaction patterns of the mechanisms of decision, a system of continuous dynamic model was chosen, with 4 equations, linking together 4 endogeneous variables and 1 exogeneous. The endogeneous ones are: P, or the sum of pressures exerted on the subject by the partisans of traditional religions; I, the influence of the community of the new religion; E, the evaluation made by the subject of the value or superiority of the new religion; D, or the determination of the subject to assume such or such attitude towards the minoritary religion. Finally, C, is the exogenous variable measuring all the situational, social, political, economic, religious, military factors of the former system which may create variations in the 4 endogeneous variables relations.
Joseph Nguyen Van Phong: Tentativa de construcción y de utilización de un modelo de conversíon religiosa según el ejemplo de Constantino. Se trata de construir un modelo dinámico para interpretar el éxito o el fracaso de la conversión de un jefe politico, invitado a rechazar la religión de mayor importancia (por ejemplo el paganismo) para adoptar о рог lo menos tolerar una religion de menor importancia, proscrita por lo común (por ejemplo el Catolicismo). Para traducir las relaciones de acción o de interacción de los mecanismos de decisión, se escogió un sistema de modelo dinámico continuo, comprendiendo cuatro ecuaciones ligando entre sí cuatro variables endógenas y una variable exógena. Las variables endógenas son P o el conjunto de las fuerzas que ejercen los partidarios de las religiones tradicionales en el sujeto; J représenta la influencia de la comunidad de la nueva religión; E el aprecio que hace el sujeto de la excelencia о de la superioridad de la nueva religión D la determinación del sujeto a adoptar tal o cual actitud para con la religión de menor importancia. Por fin, С es la variable exógena, la medida de todos los factores ocasionales de orden social, pólitico, económico, religioso y militar, susceptibles de intervenir en el sistema considerado y provocando variaciones entre las relaciones de las cuatro variables endógenas.
