The Inscriptiones Graecae (IG) are the oldest long-term project of the Berlin Academy of Sciences, founded in 1815 as Corpus Inscriptionum Graecarum and reformed by Ulrich von Wilamowitz-Moellendorf in 1902 with the purpose of achieving a critical edition of all Greek inscriptions of Greece in geographical corpora.
