À travers les interventions, en 2004, de l’ONG Première urgence à Komanda et Bafwasende en Ituri, cet article essaie de présenter la complexité des enjeux et la difficulté des interventions humanitaires en zones sous contrôle milicien. Mais aussi, comment se concrétisent, sur le terrain, la politique sécuritaire des Nations Unies et le rôle qui est alloué aux ONG dans la machine de paix issue du 11 septembre 2001.

Using the example of the 2004 interventions of the French NGO Première Urgence in Komanda and Bafwasende in the Ituri region, the article attempts to capture the picture of the complexity of stakes and the difficulties faced by humanitarian interventions in areas under armed militias control. It also shows the actual work of UN security policy and the role that has been devolved to NGOs in post-9/11 peace making operations.
